The Summit Robotics Professional Advisory Committee has a goal driven by its community and the members who contribute to the effort. We reach out to our professional community whoprovide valuable insight into the connections between our design process and real-world experiences. This mainly includes aspects of STEM, but First Tech Challenge is much more than a robotics competition. The experiences we learn are always applicable to the greater picture in life as well. The Professional Advisory Committee is a gathering in our maker space at The Summit in the Exploratorium. There we discuss how the season is going and where we may improve.
The committee plays a vital role in advising on long-term planning and decision-making. Our members contribute insights that span various fields, fostering innovation and creativity within the organization. Beyond this, the Professional Advisory Committee allows team members to think like engineers, and include the aspects of STEM in their work, in or outside the Exploratorium.
